Tropical Storm Elsa Could Dampen Your Disney World Trip

Well, folks, it’s officially hurricane season in Florida, and our first tropical storm is on its way to the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Weather reports say that Tropical Storm Elsa is expected to return to hurricane status before making landfall in Florida.

We talk a lot around here about the rain that happens (sometimes multiple times) daily in the summertime, but when there’s a tropical storm heading our way, you can expect even more rain than the usual liquid sunshine we’re used to seeing. I’m not talking about a drizzle-all-day kind of rain, either. I’m talking about a you’re-going-to-get-real-wet-even-if-you’re-carrying-an-umbrella-or-wearing-a-poncho kind of wet.

If you are heading to (or coming home from) Walt Disney World in the next day or two, we recommend that you keep a close eye on weather reports, especially if you’re flying, regarding Tropical Storm Elsa as you travel.

This post will be updated at the top with any changes that come with this weather pattern.
