What’s New at Animal Kingdom: A Single Rider Line Reopens and a Popular Snack Is Missing Again

Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Dinosaur

And, we have plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Update

Harambe Fruit Market

The Simba Pretzel has been doing a bit of disappearing and reappearing act as of late in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While it was most recently at the Harambe Fruit Market, now it’s GONE again from the menu. Instead the Mickey Pretzel with cheese dip has replaced it in the meantime…

…but we’ll be waiting for the return of our beloved Simba Pretzel once again (we miss you already)!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Entertainment Update

Expedition Everest

Single Rider has slowly, but surely began to pop up again at attractions around Disney World. And, if you’re looking to travel through the Himalayas and encounter the Yeti, you can do it a little bit quicker now that the Single Rider line has reopened at Expedition Everest!

Single Rider’s Open!

Guests will be separated from their parties when they are boarded onto the attraction, so be sure to keep that in mind before you hop in the queue! The line was definitely on the quiet side when we visited…

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Crowd Update

It’s been a busy past few days in Disney World as fireworks kicked off again in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. And, then the Fourth of July weekend arrived with plenty of guests heading to the parks to celebrate the holiday weekend! The crowds continued through Monday and beyond in Disney’s Animal Kingdom…

…as everyone branched off to their favorite parts of the park, like Pandora, DinoLand U.S.A., and more.

The lines for attractions were extra busy as they extended out in the pavilions next to them at spots like Festival of the Lion King…
