“it’s a small world” doubles as a classic Disney Parks ride AND a song that gets stuck in your head.
The ride recently closed for a brief refurbishment and today at Magic Kingdom we noticed that the iconic ride has received a pretty big change, so let’s take a look!
If you can’t remember, this is what the “it’s a small world” clock used to look like. Mostly white with gold accents. And now…
…the clock is VERY bright and colorful. Look at all the new colors! The clock really pops amid that bright blue.
In fact, the whole room looks brighter now!
If you look closely, the gold accents remain, but the blue and pink colors have really changed the look.
And the other side was painted a bright green!
We also noticed the boat in the final scene of the ride seemed to have gotten some touch-ups as well, as it looked brighter.
We don’t know if Disney plans to repaint more of “it’s a small world,” so we’ll keep checking on the progress! Keep reading DFB for all your Disney World updates!
