We like to keep you updated on what we know will be closed during your trip, and let you know if a ride unexpectedly goes down while you’re there! And now, we have an update on a Magic Kingdom attraction that will be closing soon!
The Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed for refurbishment starting Monday, August 23rd.
The Liberty Belle
The last day of refurbishment is listed on Disney’s website as Tuesday, August 31st, so we expect the Liberty Belle to be running again by Wednesday, September 1st.

The Liberty Square Riverboat was closed earlier this year as well. Actually, it was down from October of 2020 through February of 2021 as the Rivers of America was drained.

Since the refurbishment duration is only a little over a week this time, we don’t expect to see such a drastic change to the area again, but you never know!
