Getting Started

When you arrive at Magic Kingdom for the event, you’ll want to check in at the Main Entrance. Check in starts at 7 PM. If you’re already inside of Magic Kingdom ahead of the event’s start time, you can check in near Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin or Tortuga Tavern.

Time to Check In

When you check in, you’ll get a wristband. This helps identify you as a participant in the After Hours event.

Let’s just say we weren’t the only ones heading to Boo Bash tonight!

Costumes

Guests young and old can dress up for Boo Bash, but Disney has specific costume rules for guests ages 13 and under, and guests ages 14 and older that apply to the event. Before heading out, be sure to check that your costume meets all of their guidelines.

While we were in the park today, we spotted some guests dressed up in their bootiful costumes.

Looking out for those creative costumes is part of the fun of the event!

And the guests aren’t the only ones dressed up! We also spotted Cast Members wearing their Halloween-themed outfits.

During Boo Bash, however, guests will be treated to some special lighting and music to set the spooky tone. Cinderella Castle is even set to get some lighting that’ll cast it in a “spectral glow.” We’ll be posting updates when we see more about that!
