Hello, DFB Readers!

What a week we’ve had at Disney World! We’ve been trying to make sense of Disney Genie (and we hope we’ve helped you make sense of it, too). We’ve been checking out all the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival booths that have opened early. We’ve been to some restaurant reopenings, too! But we’ve also been to the resorts to see what’s new!

So on with the updates!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Food Updates

Boma

Boma has officially reopened, and this reopening is different because it’s the first buffet to be served at Disney World since the resort’s closure last year. It looks like buffets are back.

We’ll have a review up soon of the Boma buffet, so keep an eye out for that!

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort Food Updates

The Artist’s Palette

We’re pretty sure we had one of the best noodle bowls at Disney World at The Artist’s Palette. We tried the Asian Noodle Bowl with Rice Noodles with Miso Pho Broth, Napa Cabbage, Tofu, Onions, Mushrooms, Carrots, Jalapenos, Cilantro, and Lime.

And for $12.99, it was flavorful and delicious!

We spotted a new arts and crafts opportunity at the Grand Floridian. Cast Members were offering a button craft.

It costs $10 plus tax per canvas.

Pineapple Lanai

We TOTALLY kicked our Dole Whip up a notch at Pineapple Lanai. So we got a Raspberry and Lemon Dole Whip Swirl for $4.99 and guess what, they now have Tajin (they have them on the counter in a cup)!! We sprinkled the Tajin on the Dole Whip and created a delicious Dole Whip with a hint of spice.

Kona Island

Now that Kona Island has reopened, we checked to see if there was anything new. That’s when we saw the Pumpkin Spice Syrup. YAY!

It’s pumpkin spice season and we are here for it!
