Splash Mountain in both Disney World and Disneyland is getting a Princess and the Frog retheme.

The news was announced in June of 2020, but we do not know when exactly the ride will undergo the transformation. The new storyline will pick up just after Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen’s final kiss in the movie and follow Tiana, Naveen, and Louis as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance. Disney just released some new artwork for the ride retheming, and revealed some important news!
New characters will be a part of the Princess and the Frog Splash Mountain retheme!

Disney released the latest concept art for the ride retheme, which shows Tiana on her latest adventure with Naveen and Louis. As Tiana leads the way, guests will be able to encounter old friends AND make new ones as well! We spotted a pelican…
