PHOTOS: First Look at the Newly Reopened Tokyo Dining in EPCOT

It seems like every week we have another restaurant reopening at Disney World!

Japan Pavilion

Recently we have been able to enjoy the reopening of restaurants such as Boma and Victoria Falls Lounge, as well as the return of breakfast to Cinderella’s Royal Table. But today, we spent some time over in EPCOT for another restaurant reopening!

Get your chopsticks ready because Tokyo Dining has reopened in EPCOT!

Tokyo Dining is back!

After briefly reopening last year, the restaurant officially reopened yesterday!

Atmosphere

As you walk over to the restaurant, you are greeted with a sign that shows you the operating hours and where to go for check-in. As of right now, they are only open from 2 PM – 8 PM. This will change on September 2nd, when the restaurant will be switch to a closing hour of 9PM. Note that Tokyo Dining is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week, and they will only accept walk-ins for the time being.

Once we got checked in, we were able to make our way to the dining room. Since we got here right when they opened we seemingly had the place to ourselves!

Once we sat down at our table we had a QR menu as well as a paper dessert menu.

The restaurant also offers an assortment of beverages, including a choice of cocktails.

Eats

Starting off, we ordered the Momo Whiskey Sour for our drink. That included the perfect harmony of whiskey, peach schnapps, and sour mix for $12.

For food, we ordered the Tempura/Sushi Roll Combo, which includes shrimp, onion, asparagus, and red bell peppers for $25.

We also ordered the Kamo Roast, which includes sliced duck breast, Asian mushrooms, and Arima Sansho drizzled with duck sauce for $22.

Once we put down all that delicious food we had to make our way to the dessert menu. We decided to go with the Chocolate Ginger Cake, available for $9! This cake had a ginger-spiced layer cake, chocolate mousse, and dark chocolate ganache with rose crystal and raspberry.
