PLEASE Let This Be a Sign That Churro Toffee Will Eventually Come to Disney World

There are several snacks around Disney’s theme parks that are iconic. One of those is the Disney Churro!

CHURRO!

While there are some tasty churros in Disney World, some out there might argue that the churros at Disneyland are superior. The California resort has had quite the plethora of churro treats, from the classic churro to fun flavors like S’mores and Fluffernutter. And, of course, there’s the incredibly scrumptious and magical Churro Toffee. But this time, we’re having a churro palooza in Disney World! That’s right — we found FOUR (!!!) churro-themed treats in Disney World today. But, are any of these worth the cash and calories? We had to find out!

Just where in Disney World did this cinnamon-sugar-filled party happen? We’re glad you asked! We found these amazing treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, at Zuri’s Sweets Shop. You can find this confectionary oasis over near Harambe, on your way to the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction

Zuri’s Sweets Shop

We stopped by to see if there were any Halloween treats (we did spot some adorable Halloween treats here in case you were wondering), but we were pleasantly surprised to find an abundance of new churro treats!

Let’s take a look at what we found. There was the Churro Sugar Cookie, the Churro Mickey Rice Krispie, the Churro Mickey Marshmallow Treat, and the Churro Cupcake. That’s a LOT of churro treats folks.

ALL the Churro Things!

Honestly, we’re still in awe of all the churro-ness going on in that picture. Once we were done marveling at this churro-flavored party, we dug into the treats to see just how they taste.

First, let’s talk about the Churro Sugar Cookie (not to be confused with Disneyland’s Sugar Cookie Churro).

Churro Sugar Cookie

This treat was made of a sugar cookie with cinnamon-flavored icing swirls, topped with sugar crystals. The cookie itself had a close texture inside, but the flavor was light and airy. The texture was soft and chewy, which we loved!

Churro Cookie

The icing and sugar by themselves were pretty sweet, but all together with the cookie the flavors were delicious! Out of all the churro treats, this one was probably the least sweet. You can get it for $5.49 from Zuri’s Sweets Shop.

Next, we moved on to the Churro Mickey Rice Krispie Treat!

Churro Mickey Rice Crispy Treat

This was a classic rice krispie treat dipped in cinnamon-flavored icing with crumbled Cinnamon Toast cereal sprinkled on top!

A closer look…

The rice krispie treat was fresh and fluffy! The icing was pretty sweet, and we were glad that only half the treat was dipped in it so that the sweetness didn’t overpower things too much. The crumbles on top were a good balance for the sweetness, and we enjoyed the crunch they brought to the soft treat! Unfortunately they were a little bit stale, but the rice krispie itself was definitely fresh. It’s also $5.49 at Zuri’s.

But we’re not done with the churro party yet! Next we tried the Mickey Churro Marshmallow, which is somewhat similar to the churro marshmallow wand we’ve seen before in Disneyland.

Mickey Churro Marshmallow

We’re pretty sure we could hear the churro angels singing as we bit into this divine dessert. Out of all the treats, this one tasted the most like a churro to us.

The marshmallow was super sweet, and it was dipped in cinnamon and sugar, then drizzled with vanilla icing. Someone’s really doing their job right at Zuri’s, because the spices and flavors made this taste just like a real churro!

Would You Grab This Treat?

If you don’t like super sweet treats, this one is not for you! The marshmallow plus the icing made it very sweet. But, if you love all things sugary, we have a feeling you’ll enjoy it. The marshmallow treat was $4.99.

Our last churro dessert was the Churro Cupcake, which was a vanilla and cinnamon–flavored cake with vanilla icing and chocolate Mickey ears on top!

Churro Cupcake

The cinnamon flavor is very prominent in the cake. It gave us cinnamon roll vibes instead of churros! You can get this one for $5.19 at Zuri’s.

Mickey Churro Cupcake

There wasn’t a filling in this cupcake, so we found it to be a little bit dry. We’d have loved something inside the cake! It wasn’t too sweet though, so if you want that cinnamon-churro flavor without the sweetness overload, this could be a good option!

We’re SO excited to see the churro love really embraced in Disney World!! We just have one request — can Churro Toffee please be next?

Churro Toffee in Disneyland

Seriously, all our churro-filled dreams would come true if Churro Toffee appeared in Disney World. Until then, we’ll keep our fingers crossed!
