REVIEW: We Tried BEER Ice Cream So You Don’t Have To In Disney World

Disney World has released an epic amount of Halloween treats this year.

Seasonal Float

We’ve seen photogenic Halloween treats, classic Halloween snacks, and even a candy corn milkshake. But there’s one thing we haven’t seen yet and it combines two interesting ingredients: pumpkin ale and ice cream. Is this the combination of our pumpkin spice dreams? Let’s discuss!

At Disney Springs we stopped by Vivoli il Gelato for their new boozy menu addition — one that craft beer fans everywhere might want to try. Vivoli is home to more than a dozen flavors of gelato and sorbet along with other offerings, and they also feature seasonal flavors, like this one.

Vivoli il Gelato

Vivoli di Gelato is now offering a Dogfish Head Gelato infused with Punkin Ale by Dogfish Head for $7.75! When we ordered they asked for our ID, so it’s a pretty safe bet that this gelato contains alcohol.

If you’ve ever wondered what the beer form of ice cream would be, this is your opportunity. The most prevalent taste in this gelato is the beer, and although Punkin Ale is flavored with pumpkin spices and brown sugar, this gelato isn’t very sweet.

Punkin Ale Dogfish Head Gelato

The beer infusion in this gelato is STRONG, y’all. Fans of craft beer or pumpkin ales might love this, but if beer is not your thing, this isn’t for you.

So if you’re a craft beer nerd, you might want to make your way to Disney Springs to try this Punkin Ale Dogfish Head Gelato at Vivoli di Gelato for $7.75. Keep reading DFB for all your Disney World food news!
