REVIEW: We’re Trying Fanta-Infused FRIED RICE in Disneyland!

Halloween has officially arrived at Disneyland Resort!

Happy Halloween from Disneyland!

And both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure go ALL OUT for Halloween — especially with the snacks! So far we’ve tried spooky treats like Ghost Pepper Nachos, Halloween Grey Stuff, Pumpkin Cheesecake Funnel Cake, and a Trick-or-Treat Sundae! But today, we’re back to try something a little different than your usual Halloween fare!

We’re trying the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken for $10.49 at Studio Catering Co. at Disney California Adventure. But this meal comes with a catch — it’s served with Fanta Pineapple-infused Fried Rice and Soy-Ginger Glaze. Yes, Fanta, as in the soda!

There’s soda in our rice!

As far as that Fanta-taste goes, we found that the chicken tastes more like average BBQ chicken, and the pineapple flavor in the rice isn’t quite as strong as we expected. We only tasted the pineapple when we actually got a bite of pineapple, so the Fanta didn’t offer too much in terms of adding flavor! Although we enjoyed this, we still feel like there are tastier options for a quick service meal at Disney California Adventure.

Pineapply?

We also got the Frozen Fanta Strawberry Lemonade for $6.49. And it was the PERFECT drink for the hot weather we’ve been having. We found it very refreshing!
