Dockside Margaritas in Disney Springs is home to a variety of margaritas, and it sometimes features creative concoctions like the Chipotle-Pineapple Margarita!

Right now, this spot has a special drink just in time for the Halloween season and we’re checking it out to see if it’s something you should get.

The spooky spirit now available at Dockside Margaritas is a cocktail called the Jack O’Lantern. It’s made with Goslings Black Rum, Goslings Dark Rum, Bacardi Silver Rum, Cointreau (Orange-Flavored Triple Sec Liqueur), Orange Juice, Lemonade, and a Grenadine Floater. There was a similar Jack-o-lantern drink last year, that featured nearly all of the same ingredients (last year’s drink was made with Bacardi Superior White Rum, Goslings Black Seal Rum, Goslings Black Seal 151 Rum, and Cointreau, with orange juice and grenadine.

What we loved right off the bat (see what we did there?) about this year’s version of the drink is that the color really does remind us of its pumpkin namesake!

With that being said, this drink packs a serious punch thanks to all that alcohol in there. Otherwise, the flavor is sweet and tropical. The drink is fairly refreshing, but we’re not sure how many of them you could drink. The rums help cut a bit of the sweetness and give it more of a tropical flavor overall than just a pure sweet flavor.

If you like rum drinks, this is one we think you’ll enjoy. The orange juice and the lemonade cut into the sweetness of the drink overall, but considering the fact that the drink features rum, Cointreau, and the floater of grenadine, there is definitely some syrups and sweetness here. If you enjoy sweet, tropical drinks on the rocks this is one you’ll probably really like.

If you’re heading to Dockside Margaritas for an actual margarita though, this probably isn’t for you. But if you don’t really like tequila and are looking for a drink here, this could be a good option.

The Jack O’Lantern will be available from September 5th to October 31st for $15 if you want to try it for yourself!
