It’s spooky season at Disney World, and you know what that means!
That means we’re shopping for the most fun Halloween merchandise at Disney World, while also trying out all the amazing Halloween snacks and drinks. And we’ve got a MONSTER of a drink to share with you today!
Meet the Monster Margarita! It’s made with Patron Silver Tequila, Grand Marnier, Sweet-and-Sour, Black Cherry, Green Apple, and Lime Juice. Say what? That IS a monster of a drink! Note: you can ask to have it salted or not — your choice!
So at first, this tasted just like a regular frozen margarita, but every few sips, we would get a STRONG taste of the Artificial Cherry (and we’re not big fans of artificial flavors) and Sweet-and-Sour. In the end, though, it wasn’t as unique as we had hoped it would be, especially given its name. We did like the bit of bite the lime gave to the overall flavor, but maybe it wasn’t enough?
It is pretty cute, though, and photographs really well — it’s got a totally spooky vibe. This might still be a “must-try” for frozen margarita fans, and you don’t have to worry about it being too out there to enjoy it. We wanted something a little different, though, so this is one Disney World monster that didn’t deliver on its promise.
If you want to try one for yourself, you can find it at Dockside Margaritas at Disney Springs for $16. And stay tuned because we’ll keep trying ALL the Halloween snacks and drinks at Disney World as long as spooky season lasts!
