PHOTOS: First Look at the Return of Fireworks Dessert Cruises in Disney World!

Many things have returned to Disney World over the past several months!

Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom

Fireworks came back, restaurants reopened, holiday events are taking place once again, and more. However, there are still a few things we have been waiting for, like the fireworks dessert cruiseFerrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise hasn’t been available in Disney World since before the closures due to the global pandemic. But, tonight the special voyage is back, so come set sail with us and check out how the party went!

First, we checked in at the Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center near the Ferryboat launch.

Check-In

Our cruise started at 6:45PM, which is 90 minutes before the fireworks show begins at Magic Kingdom.

It’s almost time!

After we checked in and boarded the boat, then we were off on Seven Seas Lagoon to enjoy some desserts, drinks, and an amazing view of the fireworks!

Let’s hop on the boat!

When we walked on board, we were given blue champagne to start the party!

The cruise features special desserts created by Disney Chefs like KABOOM! Cupcakes, Rocket Burst Popcorn Push Ups, Red Velvet Wow! Pie, Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts, and Build Your Own Mousse.

We also had some delicious nonalcoholic drinks, like the Firework Punch or Liquid Fireworks.

Kids (and adults) can also check out the Hidden Mickey scavenger hunt!

Then, it was time for the main event — the Happily Ever After fireworks!

The show is only running until September 29th, then it’s closing for good and being replaced by Disney Enchantment for the 50th anniversary celebrations.

And all guests receive “Mickey Vision” glasses that transform their view of the fireworks.

These make the magic happen!

Plus, you get a “special takeaway surprise” included in the cruise! We got a cookie with the dessert cruise logo on it.

The cost of the cruise is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included). If you want to book this cruise for yourself, you can through the Disney World website. We had a lovely time on our cruise — it was a unique way to see Happily Ever After for one of the last times! We’ll have a full review of the experience soon.
