Hi there, DFB friends! We’re back with more of what’s new at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
There’s some food and construction news as well as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance news, so let’s get into it!
Hollywood Studios Food Updates
Fairfax Fare
For Hispanic Latinx History Month, Fairfax Fare has a new hot dog! This new Colombian Hot Dog is inspired by popular Colombian street food, and it’s an all-beef quarter-pound hot dog with toppings such as cabbage slaw, garlic-cilantro, mayo-ketchup, pineapple mustard, and potato sticks, all served on a brioche butter bun with a side of pickled vegetables for $11.49.
This dog is SPICY! We loved the brioche bun and noted a strong pineapple flavor. You can’t order this from Mobile Order, so make sure you visit the counter at Fairfax Fare to order.
Here’s our review of the Colombian Hot Dog!
Baseline Taphouse
The Baseline Bundle, usually listed under Small Plates, is not currently on the menu because they are out of the souvenir cups. The Baseline Bundle typically consists of a Bavarian Pretzel and a choice of draft beer in a souvenir cup for $20. Cast Members said they hope to have the cups back in stock soon so they can offer the bundle again.
Also, make a note that the Sierra Nevada Summer Break Sessions Hazy IPA is off the menu, so you may have to find another beer to try.
In the meantime, you can still order your favorite beers and ginormous pretzel, and we’ll be watching for the Baseline Bundle to return to the menu!

Construction Updates
Rock n’ Roller Coaster
Scaffolding has gone up in front of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, including right in front of the iconic giant guitar.
At this point, you can’t see the guitar at all! The ride remains open though, so for now Disney is just working on the exterior of the ride building.
We’ll be watching for updates on this construction progress, so keep checking back for more photos!

Star Tours
Star Tours is one of the latest Disney World rides to receive a Lightning Lane, which will be part of the Genie+ program.
Although we’ve seen Lightning Lane signs appear all over Disney World, we still don’t have a date for the launch of the Disney Genie program.
Here are all the Lightning Lane locations in Disney World so far!
Little Mermaid
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid show has been closed since Disney World closed in March 2020, and we noticed that the wait times sign (usually located right beneath the name of the show) has been removed.
Walt Disney Presents
At the Walt Disney Presents gallery, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge exhibit is still covered.
Now the wall facing the Galaxy’s Edge exhibit is plain white too.
Disney has not announced what they plan to do with this space, so this is another area we’ll be checking frequently.
Check out the 3 popular lightsabers that returned to Galaxy’s Edge!
Merchandise Updates
Sunset Club Couture
In Sunset Club Couture, we found the new tank tops we recently found at Creations Shop in EPCOT.
These tank tops are $34.99 each and they each have a different, unique Disney design!
Click here for more photos of each new tank top!
Droid Depot
Over at Droid Depot, they had only purple accessory panels in stock, and all the other colors, including rainbow, were out of stock.
Keep this in mind if you were hoping to grab a new droid accessory during your next visit!
Here are NEW and colorful ways to customize tour Disney World droid!
Various Updates
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line
Now that Disney has paused Boarding Groups for Rise of the Resistance, we visited for the first day of Standby Line. Crowds were huge for the first day, and our wait was around 100 minutes after rope drop.
Make sure you check the wait time for the ride and prepare for what could be a long ride queue. If you didn’t like the virtual queue process, you might enjoy the Standby Line!
Here’s our experience in the Standby line of Rise of the Resistance!
PhotoPass Cast Member Uniform
We also noticed a PhotoPass Cast Member was wearing the new uniform with a special belt pack!
As part of Disney World’s 50th anniversary, PhotoPass Cast Members are receiving an updated look complete with new fanny packs, a new shirt design, and no more vests.
Read more about the new PhotoPass Cast Member look here!
