Lately, we’ve been seeing something new every day in Disney World — especially with the 50th Anniversary starting soon! It feels like only yesterday we were anxiously waiting for the gold statues to debut in the parks, and now we’re tracking the installation of Lightning Lane signs and searching for refurbished park icons!

Well, today is no exception! The Cinderella castle stage has been empty for a long time now (we miss those castle stage shows!), but it looks like the stage is getting a 50th Anniversary makeover to match the castle!

You may be familiar with the special EARidescent color scheme Disney created for the 50th Anniversary — it’s on the new costumes, merchandise, banners, and even the castle! Now, that EARidescent color palette is being added to the Cinderella Castle stage! 

The new stage covering has the 50th Anniversary logo (which you can buy in pin form) along with the signature tagline “The world’s most magical celebration.”

Clearly, the new stage is still a work in progress, but we can’t wait to see how it turns out! Now, all we need are some characters on that stage… .

We’ll continue to monitor the castle stage construction, so stay tuned for more updates and other park news! There are only a few more days until the 18-month long celebration begins!
