It’s here! Disney World is celebrating its 50th anniversary and there is a LOT to look forward to at the biggest party we’ve seen at Disney World in a long time!

We’ve got TWO new fireworks shows, LOADS of 50th anniversary merchandise, the 50 gold character statues, every park icon becoming a Beacon of Magic, and SO much more. But more importantly, we’ve got LOADS OF NEW FOOD to try, and, well, we won’t lie — that’s what we’re super excited about!

Our latest treat comes from Magic Kingdom. We’re heading to Sunshine Tree Terrace to check out the Sparkling Sunshine, which is a drink made with Sparkling Apple Cider with Orange Cream Soft Serve with EARidescent Sugar.

This is actually not the first time we’ve seen this drink (or at least a very similar drink) at Sunshine Tree Terrace: their FOMOsa from 2019 is almost the exact same thing. The only difference is that the Sparkling Sunshine has EARidescent sugar on the rim. Unfortunately, we didn’t get very much sugar on our drink, but it’s possible that was just a mistake and other drinks will get more of the sugar.

The ice cream is the same as what you can get in a Dole Whip, so we weren’t mad about it at all. But you hardly get any cider in the drink because of the small champagne flute.

Although we felt very fancy with our delicate drink, we’d rather get the regular sized Dole Whip. This one just didn’t have enough cider, and its smaller size makes us think the other Dole Whips are a better value.
