Yehaa Bob Jackson is a musician who had been performing at Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside for 23 years before the Disney World closure in 2020.

After Disney World reopened in July 2020, Yehaa Bob was not invited back to perform. But, he announced not long ago that he would return to Port Orleans as of the reopening on October 14th. That’s today! We visited to see his performance, which looks a little different now, and here’s why.
On his Facebook, Jackson announced that there are some restrictions for his performance right now due to COVID-19, including not being able to perform sing-along music or encourage singing from the audience.

Tonight we went over to the River Roost Lounge to watch Yehaa Bob’s return performance, and we definitely weren’t the only ones there!

The place was PACKED. As in zero seats left in the room.

One of our new friends said that some people had been waiting at the River Roost Lounge since 6PM in order to get front-row seats. (Yehaa Bob didn’t arrive until about 8:30PM.)
Not a Seat to be Found
This could be due to the fact that Boatwright’s Dining Hall is not currently open at Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside…but honestly, most of the people here were here for Bob. Some people even had t-shirts and signs celebrating his return!
Yehaa Bob is Back!
Yehaa Bob even signed a few autographs before he took to the stage at about 8:30PM tonight.

His performance was just as fun and wacky like guests have come to expect.

…and played the piano as well.

He usually performs on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at the River Roost Lounge from about 8:30PM to midnight, although he won’t be there this coming Saturday.
