Over the last 18 months, we’ve seen a lot of restaurants reopen in Disney World!
While many came back with the initial opening of the parks and resorts, some took their time, especially places like character meals and buffet dining locations. Today, one of the popular nighttime spots on Disney’s BoardWalk is FINALLY reopening, and we got the chance to stop by!
Welcome back, Jellyrolls!
This spot has been closed for the past year and a half. Tonight, the bar reopened with the old listed hours from 7PM to 1:45AM and some new health and safety restrictions in place, but the same live piano entertainment guests love is back.
Atmosphere
When we arrived, there was already a good-sized line of people waiting to get in. It looks like a lot of guests were excited about Jellyrolls’ reopening!
It took us about 40 minutes from the end of the line to get through the door! We got a hand stamp (and this will change every night) and we were in! And in case you were wondering, you do have to be at least 21 years of age to get in.
Like everywhere else at Disney World, masks must be worn indoors, and Jellyrolls is no exception.
As you can see, the opening night crowd was a pretty good one.
But we are here to be entertained, so let’s get on with it!
Offerings
In addition to a full-service bar, you can get also the fan-favorite popcorn here — which is free to anyone who wants it.
And before we knew it, the dueling pianos had started! If you’ve never been, imagine a rap battle, but with PIANOS. It’s always a lot of fun to watch the pianists showcase their skills and witty rapport.
The energy in Jellyrolls was strong on opening night. Guests were happy to get back their late night watering hole and the performers seemed equally happy to be back on stage. Stay tuned to DFB for more news and updates on everything returning to Disney World!
