BREAD-Flavor Ice Cream Is a THING. Here’s Where You Can Find it in Disneyland

We’ve already seen lots of holiday decorations and snacks around Disney World as the parks get ready for the festive season.

Hello, Disneyland!

But we haven’t completely forgotten about Thanksgiving, either! We found a couple of tasty Thanksgiving-themed snacks recently (including a fancy cupcake and a huge cake pop). And there’s one treat spot at Disneyland (coming soon to Disney World!) that’s also embracing the Thanksgiving spirit. They’re taking the fall flavors very literally, and we’re SUPER excited and also a little scared.

The Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney, and it’s going to open a location in Disney World’s Disney Springs in 2022.

This ice cream parlor is known for some pretty wacky flavors (pear and blue cheese ice cream, anyone?), and this season’s NEW flavors definitely fit the bill. Salt & Straw’s theme for this season is “Friendsgiving.”

They’ve announced that we’re going to see flavors like Candied Walnut Cheesecake

…and Pumpkin & Gingersnap Pie, which both sound like delicious ice cream flavors to us!

And then it gets a little bit stranger with Sweet Potato Pie with Double Baked Almond Streusel…but that’s not crazy different, and we can see that combination going really well together.

The Caramelized Turkey & Cranberry Sauce had us checking twice to make sure we didn’t mis-read that. It sounds strange, but we’ve seen weirder from this spot!

The last Friendsgiving flavor is the one we’re most confused and also most excited about: Parker House Rolls with Salted Buttercream.

HOW is Salt & Straw going to make ice cream taste like delicious Thanksgiving rolls? We have no idea. But we are very interested in finding out!

All of these flavors (and more!) are available in the Salt & Straw locations and online (for nationwide shipping). You can get the Friendsgiving flavors now through Thanksgiving. And if you try out the roll-flavored ice cream, be sure to let us know what you think! Keep following DFB for more updates on the newest treats in Disneyland.
