We’re in Disney Springs today checking out all kinds of holiday snacks!
Some snacks are returning, while others are brand-new. Either way, we’ve been filling our bellies with all the sweet and savory options to bring you the full treat reviews. And now, we’re heading to Amorette’s Patisserie for some beautiful holiday desserts. These snacks are adorable, but do they taste as good as they look?
It wouldn’t be a holiday without some new sweets at Amorette’s, so we’re stopping by to try out some of the holiday treats the bakery has to offer. First up on our list is the White Chocolate Peppermint Éclair, which is an eclair with a white chocolate and peppermint mousse filling, garnished with pieces of peppermint candy and gold leaf (fancy!).
The eclair was sweet (no surprise here) and you could really taste that peppermint flavor in the filling. Our DFB reporter who tried it really liked the filling in this treat, but shared that it might not be for everyone.
You have to really love peppermint and white chocolate to enjoy this one. If you like peppermint or white chocolate a little bit but you don’t really LOVE either of those flavors, then we’d recommend you pick another treat from the case. You might find this treat to be a bit of a peppermint overload and not really enjoy it.
If, on the other hand, peppermint and white chocolate sound like a dream mixture to you, and you especially love that peppermint flavor, then you might want to give this a try.
If you want to taste this eclair, it is priced at $8.50 and it will be available from now through December 30th.
Next up is the Holiday Mickey Mousse Mini Dome Cake. Amorette’s Patisserie is known for its dome cakes, and this one definitely looks Instagrammable!

We had it last year and it was wonderfully creamy, chocolaty, and festive — a total treat for chocolate lovers. So, how does it taste this year? Well, we’re happy to report that the mousse is as good as ever!
There really isn’t anything bad to say about this one. The cake is tasty and full of those wonderful chocolate flavors. The only really change here is the extra decoration, which give it a fun look.
If you love chocolate mousse, then we have a feeling this is something you’ll enjoy. If you aren’t a fan of cake or mousse, then another treat might be best for you. You can grab it for $9 from now through December 30th.
And finally, we’ve got the Holiday Parfait. It’s made with a bourbon white chocolate mousse, cranberry cherry panna cotta, maple chocolate ganache, and chocolate chiffon cake, and is garnished with candied pralines and meringue trees.

There were too many flavors fighting for attention all at once. The cake and cranberry combination also wasn’t quite what we had hoped it would be.
Our reporter who tasted this said they didn’t hate it, but they also didn’t really love much about it. Out of the 3 treats we tried today from Amorette’s, this ranks at the bottom. It was beautiful, and if you like treats with LOTS of flavors packed into one, then you might enjoy this.
If you dislike cranberry or any of the other ingredients, and/or if you like your treats to have only a few flavors, then this might not be a good choice for you. We could see some enjoying this, but overall the combination of flavors might not be for everyone.
This treat is available for $9 from now until December 30th.
Amorette’s also has a Santa Mickey Dome Cake available, and a NYE Petit Cake will be available later in the year, so there’s plenty of sweet treats to look forward to. Stay tuned to DFB for more holiday snacks and all the Disney World news!
