Last month, we found out about the delay in the reopening of Disneyland in line with government and health officials’ guidance. California has been tightening regulations for at-risk counties with limitations on indoor operations. Now, in response to rising case numbers, California Governor Gavin Newsom just announced that certain sectors will see the closure of indoor operations statewide.

According to the new restrictions, the following sectors must cease indoor operations effective immediately: dine-in restaurants, wineries & tasting rooms, movie theaters, family entertainment centers, zoos and museums, and cardrooms. Bars must close ALL operations.

Some counties have been noted on a county monitoring list as high risk in terms of the global health crisis. Orange County, where Disneyland is located, is one of those noted.

This list of counties is subject to further restrictions with the closure of indoor operations for fitness centers, places of worship, offices for non-critical sectors, personal care services, hair salons and barbershops, and malls.
