REVIEW: Um…We’re Pretty Sure We Just Drank A Glow Stick at Disneyland

In case you missed it, the holidays have landed at Disneyland! And we’ve been busy partying it up at the first Disney Merriest Nites party!

Welcome to Disneyland’s Merriest Nites!

And we had a chance to take in a lot of the fun, but what we really focused on was all the great holiday eats! And we tried them ALL, including a sugar cookie dip, festive beignets, and pumpkin spice churro toffee! And now we’re back with another Disneyland holiday snack review!

So we headed on over to Red Rose Taverne to check out their exclusive Merriest Nites offerings, starting with the Frozen Flurry. This drink, which costs $7.59, is a Citrus and Bubble Gum Slush topped with Whipped Cream, and Candy Decor. And of course, it comes with a Glow Cube. And what can we say? It looks cool!

This thing GLOWS

HOWEVER, when it comes to taste, we’re not sure citrus and bubble gum should ever be combined like this. Most of the flavor is bubblegum, and well, we were NOT a fan of it. 🤢 Kids might dig it because it does look fun, but we’re not even sure they would like this flavor combo.

Look at it, but don’t drink it…

The second snack, though, was MUCH more satisfying. It’s the Enchanted Forest Fries, which are French Fries tossed in Buffalo Seasoning, drizzled with Ranch, and topped with Cotija Cheese for $3.99. And these we liked! They’ve got just a hint of spicy, but nothing too overwhelming.

Buffalo fries FTW

We thought this was a pretty solid snack, but we might have liked it even more if there was some sort of protein on there, like chicken. Of course, you’ll need to like buffalo flavors to appreciate these, so keep that in mind.

These are a win!

We’re covering EVERYTHING at Disneyland’s Merriest Nites, so stay tuned for more photos, videos, and reviews!

Two Words: DESSERT NACHOS. Here’s Where to Find It in Disneyland!

What do you think? Would you try these snacks at Disneyland? Let us know in the comments!
