REVIEW: Where Do You Stand On This Divisive Disneyland Treat Debate?

We’ve been hanging out in Disneyland lately, trying all kinds of festive treats.

It’s the holiday season!

We had lots of tasty snacks at the Festival of Holidays, and there were even more options to choose from at the Merriest Nites holiday party. Right now, though, we’re going to check out a returning treat that’s available during the day! Let’s see if this dessert is as delicious as we remember.

You’ll want to head to the Galactic Grill in Disneyland Park’s Tomorrowland to try out this seasonal treat. You can get some other seasonal goodies here too, like the Peppermint-Mocha Frappe and the Specialty Burger.

It’s the Caramel Pecan Brownie Parfait, which is available for $6.99.

Caramel Pecan Brownie Parfait

This treat is layers of Devil’s Food Cake, Chocolate Brownie, Caramel Pecans, and Vanilla Chantilly Cream. On top, you’ll find festive sprinkles, pecan bits, and a green and red white chocolate Mickey.

Lookin’ good!

We had this treat back in 2019, and we LOVED it! So we were super excited to see it return to the menu this season. But this year, the treat sparked a hot debate: pecans or no pecans? The reporter who tried this isn’t a huge pecan fan, so he would’ve preferred the treat without the nuts. But others who have tried it say that the crunch and flavor from the pecans is the perfect balance to the soft cake and cream. So if you love pecans, we think you’ll be really happy with the caramel-covered ones in this dessert. Otherwise, maybe try out some different holiday options!

Great for pecan lovers!

In less divisive news, the brownie layer in the parfait was as moist and chocolate-y as we remember. And the soaked cake layer was another big hit with everyone! It’s hard not to love devil’s food cake soaked in sweetened condensed milk, after all. Head to the Galactic Grill to get yours this holiday season! And keep following DFB for more updates on the best festive treats in Disneyland.
