Disney’s streaming services have been a major focus over the past year.
Last year, Disney announced a variety of changes to the way Disney’s streaming services are organized. Disney+ even saw a price increase as more content was added to the service. Now, a change is coming to the way Disney bundles its services!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ and ESPN+ will be added to the Hulu Live TV subscription for an increased price.
Beginning December 21st, Hulu will increase the price of live TV subscriptions by $5 a month and subscribers will gain access to Disney+ and ESPN+.
The ad-supported offering will cost $69.99 per month and the ad-free offering will cost $75.99 per month. The price increase lowers the cost of the Disney Bundle with Hulu Live TV. Currently, the bundle costs $72.99 for ad-supported and $78.99 for ad-free. On their own, Disney+ costs $8 a month and ESPN+ $5 a month.
Current Disney Bundle subscribers who have Hulu Live TV will see their package prices decrease to match the new price changes, but Hulu Live TV subscribers will no longer be able to opt out of the bundle.
We’ll keep an eye out for more updates about Disney’s direct-to-consumer organization. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news!
