It is Christmas time once again at Walt Disney World. The resort hotels are decorating for the holidays. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is known for its nautical decor and Christmas Village train display. Let’s take a look at Christmas at the Yacht Club.

Christmas Decorations

The large, central tree is trimmed with everything nautical.

In addition to ships and boats, the tree has glass balls that match the lobby decor.

Garland has been hung from the second floor railings.

A rowboat is displayed on the garland.

This smaller tree also has a nautical theme.

Wreaths are also displayed.

Garland continues from the second floor to the landing.

This wreath has a detailed sailboat at its center.

Christmas Village Train Display

The Christmas Village train display is surrounded on all sides by a picket fence. This prevents guests from touching the fragile trains, buildings, and figurines.

A steam engine circles the platform.

A central town square has holiday revelers and numerous shops.

This section looks like a seaside village. One sign reads “Yacht Club Galley.” The name is a callback to one of the resort’s previous restaurants.

The current Yachtsman Steakhouse gets its own sign.

Gondolas are also part of the village.

Cape May Cafe at the neighboring Beach Club also gets a sign.

This whimsical area is pure Disney.

Donald’s Toys and Minnie’s Bakery are covered in snow.

Can you spot the reference to a Stormalong Bay eatery?

The “Frozen” display fits right in.

After visiting Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, stroll to Beaches & Cream for an ice cream treat.

The North Pole has come to Florida!

Santa’s village is in full swing for Christmas.

Santa Claus and one of his reindeer greet two children. Dumbo rides on the back of a tiny caboose while Mater and an elf look on.
