After a nearly year-long hiatus due to various operating hour shortenings, the Disney Light the Night fireworks will return to the skies above Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea starting December 1!
The five minute fireworks display takes place nightly above the skies of both parks and uses “Live the Magic” from the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration as its main theme. The show is notoriously unreliable, as it can be cancelled due to even the slightest south winds. But the show will (attempt to) be presented nightly at 8:00 p.m. across both parks.
This move is particularly beneficial for Tokyo DisneySea as the park is otherwise entirely lacking in nighttime entertainment, with Believe! Sea of Dreams not set to debut until at least spring 2022. You can watch a video from its initial return last year below on our YouTube channel.
