Although “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will be the end of the “Homecoming” trilogy, it will not be the last Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Producer Amy Pascal revealed in an interview with Fandango that Sony and Marvel Studios will be continuing their partnership and are planning another trilogy starring Tom Holland as the friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man.

“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” Pascal said. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

Many thought that “No Way Home” would be Holland and Spider-Man’s final appearance in the MCU — especially after the contention between Disney and Sony two years ago — so it’s nice to know this is not the end.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” hits theaters on December 17. Watch the most recent trailer.
