The Holiday Cookie Stroll has returned for the 2021 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This scavenger hunt sends guests to different holiday kitchens throughout World Showcase to have a taste of five dedicated cookies. After getting five cookie stamps, guests can head to Holiday Sweets and Treats for a special 50th anniversary-inspired reward.

The cookie stroll rules are in the festival passport, which guests can pick up throughout EPCOT.

A Cast Member at each cookie location can stamp your passport after purchasing your cookie. Each cookie is $2.50. While the redemption cookie is free, you can purchase it for three dollars if you don’t want to do the stroll.

Gingerbread Cookie – Holiday Hearth Desserts

This gingerbread cookie was slightly dry and tasted like it had been left out.

It has a strong gingerbread taste.

The icing face and buttons were hard and crunchy.

It wasn’t bad, but it would have been better if it was fresher.

SNICKERS-Doodle Cookie – Yukon Holiday Kitchen

This was a decent snickerdoodle cookie elevated (at least in the middle) by the addition of Snickers topping.

The topping includes a heavy helping of rich chocolate plus candy chunks. It was one of the better cookies on the stroll.

Black and White Cookie – L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen

This cookie was also a little dry. The icing on top tasted like basic chocolate and vanilla store-bought icing.

It also had a slight lemon flavor to it.

This isn’t our favorite.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookie – American Holiday Table

This cookie was awesome. The chocolate cookie itself is well-made.

american-holiday-table-7-1248247

It was soft and just doughy enough with a slight crunch to the edges. It’s covered in confectioners sugar.

The Dove chocolate piece on top adds a nice richness. The sugar gets everywhere, but it’s worth it.

This is a great cookie, and we definitely wouldn’t pass on it.

Linzer Cookie – Bavaria Holiday Kitchen

This is two shortbread cookies with raspberry filling between them.

The cookie itself isn’t bad, but it’s not anything special compared to other festival options.

There’s a decent amount of filling, but it’s pretty sugary.

This wasn’t anything special, but if you’re looking for a traditional holiday cookie, it was decent.

Completer Cookie and Peppermint Milkshake – Holiday Sweets & Treats

2021-festival-of-the-holidays-cookie-stroll-redemption-prizes-3-4438186

In addition to the 50th anniversary cookie, guests also get a peppermint chocolate milkshake in a souvenir cup for completing the stroll.

It was a pleasant surprise and tasted delicious.

It reminds us of our favorite soft-serve from Anandapur Ice Cream Truck at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The souvenir cup is cute too.

The complimentary cookie is just a vanilla sugar cookie.

2021-festival-of-the-holidays-cookie-stroll-redemption-prizes-13-9561981

The cookie itself isn’t bad, but it got overpowered by the sugary fondant layer on top.

2021-festival-of-the-holidays-cookie-stroll-redemption-prizes-14-5058600

This was cute, but we definitely preferred the milkshake.

You also get a small sloth ornament for completing the stroll.

The ornament comes on a backing card with the Freeform 25 Days of Christmas schedule.

Overall, we don’t think the cookie stroll is worth it. We enjoyed the chocolate crinkle cookie but didn’t feel the others were worth it. We would rather pay for that one and the peppermint milkshake. That would save time and money.
