Can you believe how many food booths we’ve already tried at A Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival?
Neither can we, but our pants still have a little give to them, so we must keep movin’ on! Now we’ve just arrived at the American Adventure pavilion to see what patriotic foods and drinks we can spot at this star-spangled food booth, Hops and Barley!
And by the way, we’ve always stopped at the nearby Funnel Cake Stand to try their STELLAR new Street Corn Funnel Cake. Check out our full review!
Menu
Here’s the full menu of eats and drinks Hops and Barley has to offer this year!
You probably noticed some classic Food and Wine offerings along with a Flower and Garden favorite! And if you don’t know what we’re talking about, don’t worry. We’ll give you the full rundown.
Food
One of our Food and Wine Festival favorites, the New England Lobster Roll, has RETURNED!
Served warm, you’ll get a heaping pile of lobster topped with fresh herb mayonnaise and served on a fresh griddled roll. For $8.25 a pop, we’ve been known to pick up more than one of these at a time and eat them like Lobster Roll sliders.
And if you’re really fanatical about your seafood, you’ll want to check out the Southern Seafood Boil!
For $8, you’ll get a hefty-sized portion of shrimp, mussels, crawfish, potatoes, corn, and Andouille sausage. If this item looks and sounds vaguely familiar to you, it’s because it originally debuted at Magnolia Terrace, a brand new food booth at this year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival.
Back before the park closures, we found this dish to be a bit on the bland side, despite the sheer amount of food you’re served!
Having those little crawfish eyes stare into our soul was a little…off-putting…but we found this dish to be rather tasty! This is not an easy dish to conquer, however.
This dish includes corn on the cob, which is handheld, and shrimp, which still had its shell. There’s a lot of “work” involved in enjoying this dish, so if you are averse to touching things this year, this may be a dish you want to skip.
And last, but by no way least, the Freshly Baked Carrot Cake has LANDED! You can barely see it hiding underneath all the Cream Cheese Icing — and that’s just the way we like it!
For $4.25, this dessert is easily sharable. The freshly grated carrot and perfectly balanced spices really make this cake a delightful bite! Now onto the drinks!

Beverages
Hops and Barley is running with their same selection of beers and wines from last year’s Food and Wine Festival — the only exception is you can’t get beer flights right now. Guess that means we’ll just have to order them individually and make our OWN flight!!
Our selections today included North Coast Brewing Co. Blue Star Wheat from Fort Bragg, CA…
…3 Daughters Brewing A Wake Coffee Blonde Ale from St. Petersburg, FL…
…and Heavy Seas AmeriCannon APA from Baltimore, MD.
Hops and Barley is also serving up Angry Orchard Rosé Hard Cider, from Walden, NY. All of the beer selections are being sold in a 6oz. glass for $4.50 each or a 12oz. glass for $8.50 each.
And for wine time, you can pick up a glass of Mer Soleil Reserve Chardonnay, Santa Lucia Highlands for $6.00 or Broadside Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles for $5.00.
Overall, we’re pretty excited to see Magnolia Terrace’s Southen Seafood Boil has shown up on Hops and Barley’s menu along with some of our Food and Wine favorites from years past! And since there’s
no official end date for the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival yet (Disney has only said the festival will be running until the Fall), you’ll have plenty of time to munch and sip on these goodies!
