The 2021 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays began last month and guests have been able to partake in Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition — a scavenger hunt where guests find Olaf in each World Showcase pavilion then redeem their map for a prize. Unfortunately, the hunt’s actual prizes were delayed in arriving at EPCOT and Cast Members were instead offering pins and other small merchandise. The prizes have finally arrived, however, so we picked up our map and began searching!
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition – $9.99
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition maps can be found at Creations Shop, World Traveler, Port of Entry, and festival markets throughout EPCOT.
Guests must use the map to find multiple Olaf figures throughout World Showcase.
Each Olaf has a different “tradition” in his sleigh. Stickers representing each tradition are on the back of the map.
As you find each Olaf, move the corresponding sticker from the back to the right location on the front.
We won’t spoil the hunt too much, but here’s what Olaf looks like in a few locations.
For the most part, he will be outside or in a window looking out.
Some Olafs are easier to find than others.
Once you’re done with the hunt, go to one of the redemption locations marked on the map.
There, you’ll be able to get one of these “Frozen” plates. There are three designs and guests can choose which one they want as their prize.
One says “together” and features Anna and Elsa embracing Olaf with Sven.
Another says “it’s that time of year” and features Olaf riding Sven.
The last one features Olaf with a Yule goat.
The plates are made of a plastic material.
