9 Rides Had Average Wait Times Over an Hour in Disney World this Week

Disney Enchantment has arrived in Magic Kingdom!

It’s the holiday season, which can definitely mean some big holiday crowds. We like to keep up with how lines are looking in order to see how busy it is, so here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.

Magic Kingdom

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Jungle Cruise had the longest average wait time AGAIN at 65 minutes!

After that, we had Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 62 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 60 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 35 minutes, Splash Mountain at 33 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 31 minutes, Space Mountain at 29 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 28 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 27 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 25 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 25 minutes, and “it’s a small world” at 22 minutes.

Then, we saw Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 19 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 17 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 16 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 16 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 15 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 15 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 12 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 11 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 11 minutes.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes and Country Bear Jamboree at 1 minute. Rides with no waits were Liberty Square Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Frozen Ever After at 86 minutes.

Then, we had Test Track at 46 minutes, Soarin’ at 37 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 21 minutes, Living with the Land at 14 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 13 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 13 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 12 minutes, Grand Fiesta Tour at 11 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes.

The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 122 minutes.

After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 74 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 64 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 52 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 52 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 51 minutes, Tower of Terror at 45 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 30 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 17 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 15 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 8 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 96 minutes.

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 60 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 53 minutes, Expedition Everest at 22 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 21 minutes.

Following behind was Kali River Rapids at 17 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 10 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 10 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
