Members of the Global Discovery Group are now meeting in front of Poseidon’s Fury in Universal’s Islands of Adventure as the attraction remains closed for refurbishment.

The meet-and-greet alternates between two Taylors and a Taylor with Professor Elias Baxter.

Taylor is the main character of Poseidon’s Fury and is played by multiple different actors. For this meet-and-greet, two Taylors meet together and joke about the fact that they are both named Taylor.

There was a roped-off area in front of the construction walls for them to stand behind, but they also did some wandering around among guests.

Before Professor Baxter came out, the two Taylors were asking if we had seen him and calling out for him.

Part of the plot of Poseidon’s Fury is that Professor Baxter is missing. His voice is heard, but guests never see him in the attraction.

The Taylors told us that tours of the Poseidon’s Fury ruins would resume in February so we should get in line now.

They showed off their archeological tools.

Later, Professor Baxter came out with another Taylor.

The Taylors are all wearing the same costume, while Professor Baxter had a vest and darker hat.

He had a pad of paper to take notes.

Professor Baxter also told us the attraction would open in a month or two, once the ruins were “structurally sound.”
