We don’t know about you, but we get super excited when new snacks arrive at Disney World. NEW FOODS TO EAT! What’s not to love?

If those snacks just happen to be boozy, well, bonus points! And let’s face it, Disney World comes up with some cool and unique alcoholic offerings for adults, like a caramel apple cider, pineapple wine, and a fun martini flight! Today, we’re trying a boozy DOLE Whip drink, and, yes, we’re THRILLED!

So the drink is  the Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl, and there are already two words in this drink that we LOVE — habanero and lime! This is a new signature cocktail made with Dole Whip Mango and Lime, El Jimador Silver Tequila, Habanero-Lime flavoring, Sprite, and Lime-Chili Rim. However, when we visited, they were out of Mango, so we opted for Pineapple as an alternative.

Okay, so when we took the first sip, we were, well, SHOCKED. Because this doesn’t sound like it would work, but it’s surprisingly delicious! We do have a tip, though — wait until the DOLE Whip melts and then mix it all up in the drink — the flavors blend better that way!

The Habanero Lime flavoring is also surprisingly spicy, but not TOO much, so we thought it brought the perfect amount of heat.

We also LOVED the Chili Lime Salt on the rim because it accentuates that spiciness. So make sure you get a little of that salt in with each sip. It was not overly spicy, but we felt the heat just enough.

The strongest flavor here, though, is the Lime, and we think that would probably still be the case with the Mango, as it was originally intended to be made. Overall, though, this drink has a great mix of sweet and heat. We will admit that we couldn’t really taste the Sprite or the Tequila.

But because this is so tart and spicy, it’s definitely not a drink for everyone — those with pickier tastes might just hate it. But what do we think? Well, we would TOTALLY get this again.

There is a catch, though, if you want to try this unique beverage for yourself — it’s available at Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, which just reopened TODAY — you’ll find it at the Snack Shack for $13. Also, be sure to try out some of the other DOLE Whip offerings here, including the Hei Hei Cone and the Montunui Island Twist, as well as a Create-Your-Own DOLE Whip option!
