A Popular Bakery in Disney World AND Disneyland Has FIVE New Cupcakes for January

New year, new you, new…cupcakes?

2022 Minnie Ears

Several spots in Disney World are starting fresh in 2022 with some new snacks and flavors. Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has new cookies and cold brew with a banana theme, and Disney World is introducing several new snacks to continue the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Now, another popular treat spot is getting a few new desserts for the new year!

Sprinkles, a famous cupcake store with locations in both Disney Springs (at Disney World) and Downtown Disney (at Disneyland) has NEW flavors for January!

Sprinkles Cupcakes

These treats will be available at different times during January, so make a note of the dates so that you know which cupcake will be here during your visit.

Sprinkles in Downtown Disney!

The Kir Royale Cupcake is just about gone — today is the last day you can buy this one! It’s made with sparkling rosé cake, filled with raspberry Chambord jam, and topped with the Chambord jam marbled into cream cheese frosting.

But don’t worry if you’ll miss that treat. The next ones will stay for at least a little bit longer! The Happy New Year Sprinkle Cupcake is birthday cake filled with colorful sprinkles, topped with vanilla frosting and even more sprinkles on top. This one is available now through January 5th.

The S’more Cupcake has a graham cracker crust on the bottom, a Belgian dark chocolate cake, a chocolate ganache filling, and a toasted marshmallow frosting on top. You can get this one from January 3rd through the 16th.

Following the S’more Cupcake is the Pop Tart Cupcake, which has a vanilla cake that’s lined with a sugar cookie crust. It’s filled with strawberry jam and topped with strawberry frosting, with a vanilla buttercream drizzle on top and a mini pop tart decoration. This treat will be available from January 17th through the 30th.

There will be a Miso Caramel Cupcake on the menu from January 24th through the 30th. We don’t have the details yet for this treat, but it looks like there will be a gooey caramel center, and that’s really all we need to know!

Finally, if you’re not able to get to a Sprinkles store, you can order the Lemon Blueberry Assorted Dozen any time between January 3rd and January 28th. This box includes Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes and some classics, like Red Velvet, Dark Chocolate, and Sprinkle Cupcakes. They’re available for nation-wide shipping.
