- Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now closed for a refurbishment set to last into April.
Disney Springs
- A donut inspired by the new Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs, “Drawn to Life,” is now available at the nearby Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A power outage in the Magic Kingdom resort area has reportedly caused the shut down of the ferry boats and the Monorail around 6:00 p.m., according to Cast Members.
Other Walt Disney World News
- The MagicMobile pass available through My Disney Experience now displays Disney Vacation Club affiliation.
- Eligible guests visiting Walt Disney World from the United Kingdom who book through Walt Disney World Travel Company International will now get a Disney Dining Promo Card.
Disneyland Resort
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disneyland Park is getting a whole new façade for its grand opening.
- The old holiday store is being rethemed at Disneyland Park. The store now has a sign reading “Merlin’s Marvelous Miscellany.”
- Straight out of the hit Disney+ Star Wars series “The Mandalorian,” a new adorable Grogu candy apple has arrived at Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney District.
New Merchandise
- A new limited edition 50th anniversary pin has arrived at Walt Disney World.
- Fans of Disneyland and Walt Disney World alike who want to show off their love of their home resorts can now do so with a pair of new long sleeved shirts available now on shopDisney.
- The Iron Man Infinity Gauntlet beverage holder has returned from “the Blip” to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure.
Entertainment and Media
- The Walt Disney Company has patented a “virtual world” simulator that could be used on future theme park attractions.
