You’ll Basically Be Sipping Summer with Disney World’s Newest Drink!

If you’re looking for a delicious snack or dessert but don’t have a Disney World park ticket, Disney Springs is the place for you.

Disney Springs

This shopping and dining center actually has some of the best food in all of Disney World, parks included. We love the fried chicken at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, the half-pound cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse, and the melty cheese paired with wine at Wine Bar George. Today, we’re looking for a lighter treat in the Springs, and we think we found the perfect one.

Vivoli il Gelato serves up a variety of gelato and sorbetto flavors, along with milkshakes, floats, and special treats. While we haven’t been fans of every treat at this spot, it has definitely had some winners in the past.

Today, we’re trying the new Rosé Sangria, which is a sangria rosé containing strawberry sorbetto, orange gelato, SanPellegrino limonata, and Terre Di Bacco Rosé Prosecco. There’s a candy orange slice on top as the garnish.

Isn’t she pretty? The bright colors definitely give us summer vibes, which might be exactly what guests are looking for if they’ve escaped to Orlando in mid-January. The orange gelato isn’t mixed into the drink. Rather, there’s a full scoop of it plopped inside, which makes this a float! We thought this drink was really tasty. There wasn’t a strong Rosé flavor because there were so many other flavors mixed in.

It reminded us a little bit of the beer floats we’ve had here in the past, only with Prosecco flavors instead. The similarity is that we didn’t really notice the alcohol flavor at all. It mostly tasted like a sweet gelato float. Our only problem with it was that it was a little pricey for the amount you get. This drink costs $17, and it didn’t take us very long to finish it.

But if you love Prosecco or are interested in trying a lighter alcoholic float, head down to Vivoli il Gelato to get the Rosé Sangria. And keep following DFB for more reviews of the newest treats in Disney World.
