Welcome to another beautiful day at the Universal Orlando Resort! Lots of refurbishments can be spotted around both parks, so let’s jump right into some updates.
Starting our day at Universal Studios Florida, we spotted new ‘Minions’ themed construction walls that have appeared outside the closed Shrek 4-D attraction.
Many rumors are circling around, but there have been no announcements yet for what will replace the attraction.
Noble guards continue to protect the Revenge of the Mummy while it undergoes some refurbishment. The attraction is set to reopen in late summer.
We popped into Diagon Alley to grab some frozen butterbeer, we definitely needed it to power us through the day.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts was only a 10 minute wait! Park opening is a great time to arrive if you want to hit some rides that usually have a long wait.
Check out these new Hello Kitty Loungefly bags we found at the Hello Kitty Store!
The sweet treats pattern is so adorable, and the colors are perfect for Spring.
Let’s head into Universal’s Islands of Adventure and check out what’s happening around the park.
The streets of Seuss Landing are quiet today.
The holidays may be over, but these new Grinch slippers might be worth making an exception.
They can be found at Gertrude McFuzz Fine Feathered Finery for $25. Super cute!
Poseidon’s Fury got a major paint job! The attraction walls are now a solid pastel green color, check out what it looked like previously here.
Witches and wizards can be seen practicing their magic in the streets of Hogsmeade.
VelociCoaster is only a 25 minute wait, we’re definitely going to hop in line!
Continuing through Jurassic Park, some construction walls have appeared around Jurassic Park River Adventure for a standard annual refurbishment. The attraction is set to reopen at the end of the month.
The streets of Marvel Super Hero Island aren’t too crowded today.
Have no fear, Doctor Doom’s Fearfall was only a 20 minute wait. Are you brave enough to help Doctor Doom test his latest invention?
While walking around CityWalk, we spotted two new sustainable material tees in the Universal Studios Store. Both tees are made of 100% recycled plastic.
