Plant-based Bratwurst with Spicy Turmeric Aïoli, Coffee Barbecue Jackfruit and Slaw – $9.50

Admittedly, we were afraid when we read “spicy turmeric aioli,” but this vegan brat was quite tasty! The coffee barbecue jackfruit and coleslaw balances that spicy turmeric aioli, and the brat itself was very flavorful.

The dish as a whole worked well, and we were all impressed with this offering, given the combination of unique ingredients.

This is a giant, chewy chocolate chip cookie. Don’t expect something hot and fresh, but it’s good enough for mom and dad to enjoy a bite while the kids enjoy painting with the brush (and probably eating the cookie too).

Playalinda Brewing Company Blue Raspberry Blonde, Titusville, FL (5.0% ABV) – $10.75

The beer is true to its name. You initially get a massive rush of blue raspberry flavor, which quickly subsides. The fruit flavoring is stronger than, say, Sea Dog Blueberry; it’s not subtle even on the fruit-flavored beer scale. For a few moments, you can taste that it is indeed beer. It is on the lighter side, as a blonde should be.

*NEW* 81Bay Brewing Co. Nairobi Coffee Dark Beer, Tampa, FL (6.0% ABV) – $10.75

From correspondence with 81Bay Brewing Co.: “Nairobi Coffee Porter has all of the rich roast and semi-sweet chocolate that we love in this style of beer with subtle elements of stone fruit and berries that comes from the coffee itself.”

*NEW* Central 28 Beer Company Wall Art Brown Ale, DeBary, FL (6.0% ABV) – $10.75

From correspondence with Central 28 Beer Company, Wall Art Brown Ale is “a rich oatmeal brown ale brewed with Madagascar vanilla beans. Vanilla, caramel, and toffee notes joined by hints of cocoa and toast along with an earthy and spicy hop character provide a balanced body to this malt-forward beer.”
