Grilled Kebabs with Carrot-Chickpea Salad and Garlic Aïoli (Lamb Kefta, Harissa Chicken) – $5.75

The lamb has quite a kick to it. It’s a tender, well-cooked, hearty kebab.

The chicken is tender and flavorful, covered in spices. The carrot-chickpea salad is fresh. It’s served quite cold, but it didn’t hinder the meat.

Both options are great.

Stone-Baked Moroccan Bread with Hummus, Fig Tapenade and Zhoug Dip – $5.00

The bread itself is soft and perfect for dipping. The Zhoug dip just tastes like bad cilantro, however, the fig tapenade is sweet and delightful, while the hummus has a pleasant roasted flavor.

*NEW* Carrots Three Ways: Berbere-spiced Grilled Carrots, Pickled Carrots and Carrot Ginger Purée – $4.25

This was awful. Everything is bland and over salted. There is nothing remarkable about any of the three takes on the vegetable, all of which anyone could prepare at home easily.

*NEW* House-Made Crispy Almond Phyllo Pockets with White Chocolate Pomegranate and Milk Chocolate Orange – $4.75

This is a top three festival dessert. Served warm, it has tons of almond filling in a crispy shell that is accented with sweet sugar. The sauces underneath add some necessary sweet and fruity flavors, making for one of the most profound desserts of 2022.

*NEW* Chai Tea Mint Mimosa: Twinings of London® Chai Tea with Key Lime Sparkling Wine and Mint – $11.00

The Chai Tea Mint Mimosa was very good, made of high-quality sparkling wine with mint undertones. The most prevalent flavor is the chai, which we truly enjoyed.

*NEW* Swilled Dog Sangria Hard Cider, Upper Tract, WV (6.9% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.

From Swilled Dog: “The seasonal craft cider is uniquely made with a carefully selected blend of apples, and finished with lemons, lime and cherries and no added sugar. The addition of the cherry helps create a slightly ruby color, reminiscent of traditional sangrias. Fresh and zesty lemons and limes complement the tartness of the apples, making Swilled Dog Sangria less sweet than wine-based sangrias and infinitely more refreshing.”

*NEW* 3 Daughters Brewing Chai Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.

From correspondence with 3 Daughters Brewing: “Aromas of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, and ginger swirl perfectly making this Chai hard cider very well balanced for the season and leave you wanting more.”

*NEW* Blake’s Hard Cider Co. Berry Cranders Hard Cider, Armada, MI (6.9% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.

From Blake’s Hard Cider Co.: “This limited offering is the perfect balance of bold & tart cranberries complemented by a hint of ginger.”
