Magic Kingdom

Yesterday, we saw installation finally begin on the canopy roof above TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom. We visited the coaster today to see if there have been any changes.
Yet another fight between guests has been documented on camera, this time in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT

More of the Xandarian starship is being installed outside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, including the center cockpit of the ship as well as a wing.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

BoardWalk Bakery on Disney’s BoardWalk is now serving a “doodle” muffin, named for the snickerdoodle cookie that it’s inspired by.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which launches March 1, has been added to the bus directory at Disney Springs.

In addition to today and tomorrow, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will also be closed Thursday, January 27, due to projected cold temperatures.

Disneyland Resort

While trams are set to resume service at Disneyland Resort in “early 2022,” construction continues at the Downtown Disney District tram station, which is being renovated.
A new blueberry chocolate churro dipping sauce is now available at Disneyland Park.
Multiple Hilton Good Neighbor Hotels in Anaheim and Orange County have a special offer available through the month of February to celebrate the New Year at Disneyland Resort.
For the 2022 Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure, guests can pick up some special treats from the seasonal cart at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
The El CapiTOON Theater is coming together at Disneyland. This “theater” will be the entrance façade to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Tokyo Disney Resort

Ever burn your Christmas turkey a bit too much? Well Tokyo Disney Resort will have you covered starting February 1 with a new line of frozen foods, with the first item being a Mickey-shaped pizza!

Disneyland Paris made multiple announcements today regarding their 30th anniversary:

Disney Cruise Line Guests will be immersed in the ever-unfolding stories of their favorite toys, monsters and heroes during the all-new Pixar Day at Sea aboard special sailings on the Disney Fantasy in early 2023.

New Merchandise

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we spotted a new light up Mickey balloon wand. We found it at Discovery Trading Company.
A new “Alice in Wonderland” Dooney & Bourke collection has arrived at Disneyland Resort.
New “Star Wars,” Minnie Mouse, Disney dining, and Belle pins have arrived at Walt Disney World.

Entertainment and Media

Lucasfilm Games and Electronic Arts have announced new “Star Wars” games developed by Respawn Entertainment are coming soon.

The Walt Disney Company

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa sent out a message to future guests of the resort encouraging them to keep close attention to potential changes in Hawaii’s COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
