It’s a cool, overcast day here at the Universal Orlando Resort, but we’re ready for a busy day. We decided to start our day out at Universal Studios Florida.
The arch for Rock the Universe was added yesterday, and the event itself is this weekend.
The Mardi Gras Tribute Store is preparing to open. The façade for the Float Factory and Warehouse has gone up overnight and we’re looking forward to checking it out when it opens!
Food booths around the park have started to receive themed facades as well. We’re getting some steampunk vibes from this booth towards the back of the park.
The Shrek pre-show podium has sold, along with many of the weapons in the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop. There are still plenty of items and we’re hearing they will be getting more stuff soon. We can’t wait to see what props end up here!
We decided to stop into the Today Cafe for some avocado toast before heading over to Islands of Adventure.
Wand bags are now being sold for $2 each. Don’t forget you can get a free non-interactive wand with the purchase of a merchandise gift card.
Seuss Landing was very quiet as we passed through. We did stop to enjoy a little bit of Oh, the Stories You’ll Hear!
Only a 60 minute wait time for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and 35 for VelociCoaster.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates on Mardi Gras and more!
