PHOTOS: More Concrete Installed on Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ Structures in EPCOT

It’s another lovely day at EPCOT, which means another lovely day of looking at construction. Let’s see how Journey of Water, inspired by “Moana,” has progressed in the World Nature neighborhood of the park.

There are several construction projects going on in this area, including work on the exterior of Connections Café and Eatery as well as Dreamers Point.

There are construction materials stacked near white tents where crew members take breaks.

A paved walkway leads from the break area into the construction site for Journey of Water.

As we’ve noted before, there are several piles of dirt.

But there are also now several concrete structures, including this wall next to a trench.

Rectangular and circular concrete bases sit around the wall.

Orange net fencing runs along the trenches to keep workers safe.

There are pipes visible in the trenches.

A wall of corrugated metal separates one trench from another.

This structure in the ground is now completely encased in concrete.

There is no announced opening timeframe for Journey of Water.
