We’re back with more updates from Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom officially reopened to the public just over a week ago, and we’ve been scoping out the restaurants, merchandise, and attractions to see what’s new! Despite the relatively low crowds (and wait times!) it looks like Disney is still movin’ and shakin’ because we have plenty of updates to share! 

Animal Kingdom Food Update

Satu’li Canteen

Here’s some news that we’re so excited about we just had to share it first! At Satu’li Canteen in Pandora — The World of AVATAR, our beloved Cheeseburger Pods are BACK on the adult menu!

Awhile back, the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods were taken off the adult menu, much to our despair! And while we technically could still get them, we had to cheat the system a bit by ordering one from the kid’s menu or trying to order the entree from the Cashier. But now, the full entree is available on Mobile Order! 

The entree is priced at $11.49 and it includes two pods, a side of Crunchy Vegetable Slaw, and Vegetable Chips.

Isle of Java

Located in the Discovery Island section of the park, Isle of Java is a kiosk that serves up coffee, cold beverages, breakfast pastries, and more. And currently, this location is only open from 8AM-11AM.

So, for now, if you want an afternoon cup of coffee in Animal Kingdom you’ll have to head to another location like Royal Anandapur Tea Company or Creature Comforts!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update

Windtraders

Let’s head back over to Pandora, because we spotted a ton of new merch insider Windtraders! First, we found this Kids Pandora Hoodie for $34.99.

And there’s also a Kids Tie-Dye Pandora T-Shirt featuring the floating mountains for $24.99.

And we spotted a few new t-shirts for the grown-ups too! Both the Sivako T-Shirt and Floating Mountains T-Shirt are $24.99 each or $22 each if you buy two.

And this Fly Pandora T-Shirt is also priced at $24.99 or $22 each if you buy two.

And we spotted lots of cool mugs too! This Pandora Letters Mug is $19.99.

And this gorgeous Floating Mountains Mug is available for $14.99.

And there’s another Floating Mountains Mug design for those who prefer a daytime view! This one is also $14.99.

And last but not least, you can snag this Banshee Mug for $14.99.

You can keep cool with this “A World Like No Other” Tank Top for $34.99.

And for those cooler evenings, we spotted this Pandora Long Sleeve T-Shirt priced at $39.99.

That’s quite a haul of new treasures from Windtraders!

Discovery Trading Company

We were excited to spot a familiar face inside Discovery Trading Company! This Safari Minnie Mouse Loungefly Backpack popped up on shopDisney a few months ago, but it was nice to see her make an appearance in the park! This cutie is priced at $80.

And we also noticed that the super pretty Tie-Dye Spirit Jersey that we first saw at Star Traders in Magic Kingdom has also made its way to Animal Kingdom! You can pick one up for $69.99.

It makes our heart happy to see fan-favorite merch like Loungfly bags and spirit jerseys in stock!

Cooling Fans on Sale

And before we head out, there’s one other general merchandise update that we have to share — we noticed that Cooling Fans were on sale at various locations throughout the park!

These fans are regularly priced at $22, but we found them on sale for $15 each!

So there you have it, all of the new dining and merchandise updates we were able to round up on our most recent visit to Animal Kingdom! Now that all of the Disney World parks have reopened, we’ll continue to scope them out to see what else is new, so stay tuned for more updates!
