3 Popular Disneyland Rides Are Closing For Refurbishment SOON

Consider this — you finally get to Disneyland Resort only to discover that your favorite ride is closed for refurbishment! 😲

Rides do need maintenance and care, though, so it happens more often than you might think. But it’s a real bummer if you had your heart set on a certain attraction and don’t realize it’s closed until you get there. That’s why we’re here — we’re going to do our best to keep you updated on ride closures and refurbishments.

We’ve already told you about the Disneyland Monorail closing on February 14th and as of today, we don’t have a reopening date for the Monorail.

We also want to remind you the Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closed from February 28th to March 4th for a temporary refurbishment.

We’ve just recently learned that ANOTHER classic attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean, is scheduled to close for refurbishment starting on March 14th. It looks like it will be down AT LEAST until March 24th, which as far out as the Disneyland calendar currently runs.

Indiana Jones Adventure is also scheduled to close on March 8th for a very short refurbishment — the ride is set to reopen on March 11th.

Keep in mind that refurbishment and reopening dates are always subject to change, so we recommend keeping a close eye on the Disneyland calendar to make sure your favorite ride is open during your next trip to the parks. We’ll also do our best to keep you updated on ride closures, so be sure to check back with DFB often!

Will you be in Disneyland during any of these closures? Let us know in the comments!
