The Fantasy Faire Royal Theatre in Disneyland is now surrounded by construction walls and scaffolding for refurbishment.
No live performances have been held at the Royal Theatre since Disneyland reopened.
The construction walls are white with brown crisscrossed lines, matching the old-fashioned architecture of Fantasyland.
A themed banner-shaped sign is near the entrance to the theater.
It reads “A proclamation. Hear ye, hear ye! All who come to this place shall… Pardon our Pixie Dust. By decree of the Fantasy Faire Royal Court.”
Green scaffolding reaches nearly to the top of the Royal Theatre marquee. Platforms for workers encircle the building.
