PHOTOS: Some Areas Cleared of Dirt During Construction of Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ at EPCOT

Walt Disney Imagineering recently filed a permit for Journey of Water inspired by “Moana” at EPCOT. Though we haven’t seen the new structures indicated in that permit yet, we are seeing progress at the construction site.

Of course, there are always piles of dirt to be seen at the center of EPCOT.

Some construction materials and dirt have been cleared from the site.

There are a couple of structures and concrete walls.

More materials can be seen in the trenches.

Journey of Water will be a walkthrough attraction with interactive water displays.

A big trench is just past the construction wall in the World Nature side of the park.

The structure in the ground is now completely surrounded with concrete walls.

There is no opening date set for Journey of Water.
