PHOTOS: Go Inside a TINY and EXPENSIVE Riviera Resort Tower Hotel Room in Disney World With Us!

Did you know that you can go to Disney World but stay somewhere that feels like you’re on the coast of Southern France? Well, you can!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of the newest hotels at Disney World and is inspired by Europe and the Mediterranean. It has grand archways, lush gardens, and is located on the water. It also has access to the Skyliner! The Riviera is a Disney Vacation Club resort and has a variety of rooms, from villas to studios. If you haven’t been able to stay here yet, or are currently planning a trip, you probably want to know exactly what the rooms look like. So, let’s take a tour of a room at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

We’re taking a tour of a Tower Studio room that has 1 Queen-Size pull down bed and sleeps up to 2 adults. Let’s go inside! Here’s what you see when you walk in the front door.

Our room!

Aaaaand the front door looks like this, in case you’re wondering!

Front door

Right next to the door is a full length mirror (an absolute necessity in a hotel room, in our opinion!). On one side of the mirror is the thermostat for the room, and on the other is the entrance to the bathroom.

You need to be able to see your full Disney outfit!

Speaking of the bathroom, let’s check it out!

Into the bathroom we go

This bathroom is just one big room — it’s not sectioned off like some are in other hotels.

Everything in one spot

It has a HUGE walk in shower that’s just gorgeous, with a large glass door.

Can we take this shower home with us?

Inside, you’ll find both a waterfall shower head and a detachable shower head

It’s good to have options!

…as well as a bench in the back of the shower, in case you want to sit back and relax or need somewhere to prop your foot up to shave your legs (if you know, you know).

The bench is a great touch

There is also H2O shampoo, conditioner, and body wash underneath the shelf in the wall.

Disney’s got you if you forgot your shampoo!

The toilet is right next to the shower and has some extra towels hanging over it, as well as a small trashcan right underneath the toilet paper holder.

Toilet area

The vanity has a decent amount storage…

Plenty of space for your things!

…as well as a hairdryer!

Spot that hairdryer

There are open shelves on either side of the vanity for more storage.

Lots of room

There’s only one sink in this bathroom.

Sink

On either side of the sink you’ll find tissues

In case you decide to watch Up while you’re here

…and some more H2O products!

All the goodies

There is also a magnifying light-up mirror attached to the wall that you can adjust to use.

To get up reallll close!

Even though there is only one sink, there is a decent amount of counter space….

Bathroom space

…as well as a shelf under the mirror that you can set stuff on!

Shelf and mirror

Inside the bathroom is also the closet!

Let’s look inside!

Through the double doors you’ll find extra shelves, as well as hangars, an ironing board, a bin, and a luggage rack.

Closet space

Inside here is also where the safe is kept…

To lock up your valuables

…as well as an extra pillow/blanket and a steam iron.

Because you know your roommate can steal the covers sometimes!

It’s a pretty spacious closet!

Closet

Okay, let’s move back out into the room!

Now for the main event!

In here, there is a couch

Nice little couch

…as well a some blue ottomans.

Ottomans

These ottomans actually open up for more storage…

Open sesame

…AND the lids flip over to become trays or turn the ottomans into small tables.

So smart!

On one side of the couch, you’ll find more shelves as well as a microwave and a mini fridge!

More fun things!

There’s also another extra pillow/blanket hiding up here.

For those EXTRA cold nights (so like 50 degrees in Florida)

Above the microwave, you’ll find some basic kitchen things like paper towels, utensils, plates, a can-opener, and a toaster!

Everything you need

A microwave and a toaster? Stock up your mini fridge and you don’t even have to leave your room for breakfast if you don’t want to!

Also great for Topolino’s leftovers!

But, you can cover all of this stuff up except the microwave to tidy things up.

So neat!

These shelves are also where you’ll find your ice bucket and some cups

Keepin’ things cold

…with even more storage underneath.

This room definitely has a TON of storage

On the other side of the couch is the desk area!

Desk area

Here is where the Keurig and coffee are located…

Essential to any Disney trip

…as well as your phone.

BRB calling Mickey Mouse

The chair is large and comfy…

Comfy chairs are important for working!

…and there are even more shelves overhead.

Seriously, it would be hard to run out of storage space

So, if you need to get some work done, this is a great spot to do it (especially with that coffee machine RIGHT there!).

Perfect set up

Oh! And when you’re done with your coffee, you can throw away your cup in the trashcan under the desk.

Don’t forget to throw away your trash!

There are some beautiful big windows in this room, planked on either side by long curtains with blue detailing.

A peek outside

You can use the sheer curtain to get a bit of privacy…

Letting the light in still

…or close them all the way to make your room dark so you can sleep in (or take a midday nap).

GoodNIGHT

Next to the curtains is this fun Aristocats artwork!

They’re staying at the Riviera too, apparently!

And then, we have the door to outside.

Time for some fresh air

Out here, we had a small patio with two metal chairs and a table.

A little seating area

We’re on the ground floor, so we have a patio…

Patio space

…but if we were on one of the higher floors, we would have a balcony!

Look up!

Either way, you get a pretty great view of the pond and the Skyliner station!

A pretty good view!

You also can just walk straight from your room to the Skyliner — how cool is that?!

So easy to pop over to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios!

This door is basically one big window, but don’t worry — it has a curtain you can pull down to block out the light!

Time for a nap

Next to the door is the TV! A vital part of any hotel room, this is a smart TV, so you can do things like watch Netflix.

All TVs should be smart TVs

Under the TV is a small stand with another shelf.

Even MORE storage

On top of the stand you’ll find your remote (which is covered in plastic for sanitary reasons), and some information about Disney World and the resort.

Some essential info!

There is also a combo trashcan and recycling bin under here!

Please recycle!

Okay, we know what you’re thinking — where’s the bed?! Well, as we said before, it pulls down from the wall over the couch!

There it is!

Once the bed is pulled down, a lovely Peter Pan mural is revealed showing Wendy, John, Michael, and Peter flying over London.

Flying away in our dreams.

Next to the top of the bed, you can find outlets built in!

We need this at our house!

This bed is a fun and unique feature to this room, and can be a great space saver when you’re not using the bed!

Still doesn’t take up too much space, though!

So, there you have it — a full tour of a tower studio room at Disney’s Riviera Resort. This room would be great for a quick getaway or even a solo trip! But it is pricey, especially with how small the room is. This room could run you anywhere from like $350-$600+ a night. So keep that in a mind when thinking about booking this room.

The end!
