The Best Meals in Disney World For Under $15

Trips to Disney World can get EXPENSIVE between the price of your hotel, tickets, souvenirs, and…of course…FOOD!

Let’s talk affordable Disney FOOD!

There are a bunch of ways you can save money on food — from bringing your own snacks to buying drinks in certain locations to take advantage of discounts. Plus, not all filling, delicious meals in Disney World are ridiculously expensive. You can get some amazing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners all over Disney World for under (or just at) $15! But, what are the best meals you can get at this price point? We’re sharing our list with you today!!

Magic Kingdom

Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

At Pecos Bill’s, a delicious option for under $15 is the Chicken Rice Bowl. This dish comes with Yellow Rice topped with Seasoned Chicken, Grilled Peppers and Onions, Black Beans, Lettuce, Tomato, Sour Cream, and Salsa and is priced at $11.99.

Chicken Rice Bowl

Our favorite part of this dish is the fajita-style grilled chicken and veggies on top! Overall, the meal is hearty and delicious. And don’t forget to ask for any other special toppings you might want (like lettuce or tomatoes) to add even more flavor.

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

At Sleepy Hollow refreshments you’ve got 3 solid meal options for under $15. For a quick and delicious breakfast, you can get the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich served with Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread for $8.29.

Fresh Fruit Nutella Waffle Sandwich

For lunch/dinner, there’s the tasty Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich featuring Broccoli Slaw with a Honey-Sriracha Glaze served with House-made Chips for $10.49. Each bite serves up a delicious balance of sweet and spicy flavors!

Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich

Or, you can opt for the Hand-dipped Corn Dog which comes with house-made chips for $10.99. We’ve had varied experiences with the hand-dipped corn dogs here in the past, but the one we got most recently was PERFECTION — hot and fresh, and wonderfully crunchy.

YUM

And, it’s not just the cost that makes these dishes must-try on your next Disney World trip, they’re also pretty hefty portion sizes so you can cut down on the cost even more by grabbing a friend or two to share them with!

The Plaza Restaurant

You don’t have to opt for a meal at a Quick Service location to find a deal in Magic Kingdom — over at The Plaza Restaurant, you can actually grab TWO different appetizers for under $15 each. First is the Pinto Bean Chili, which is served with Cashew Cream and Lime Wedge (Plant-based) and is priced at $9. We recently gave this one a try and were impressed to find that the chili was actually really filling, surprisingly packed some heat, and while it’s listed as an appetizer, we felt like it could have been its own meal.

Pinto Bean Chili

The Plaza is also home to one of our FAVORITE appetizers in Disney World — the Plaza Loaded Fries. These crispy fries come topped with melted cheddar, house-made bacon, and green onion and are priced at $13. While our loyalty still lies with plastic cheese, the cheese sauce on this one is delicious and the toppings are served fresh (although we do wish there were more of them).

Plaza Loaded Fries!

The fries are listed as an appetizer, but the menu does note that it can serve 2. We felt like the fries were about the serving of a side of fries you’d get with a burger but, if you feel like that’s enough for a carb-loaded meal, then you can enjoy them all on your own as a light-ish lunch.

EPCOT

Festivals Mix & Match

At EPCOT, one of the best ways to spend just under $15 is to create your very own meal from the various snacks available at whatever EPCOT festival is going on at the time. For example, if you’re visiting during EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival, you can travel around World Showcase and combine 2 or more items from our Best of the Fest list to create one tasty (and unique) meal for just at/under $15.

For example, you could grab the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese Frosting and Candied Bacon for $4.25…

Cinnamon Roll Bites

…and Shrimp and Grits for $7.25 from Sunshine Griddle for a sweet and savory meal.

Shrimp and Grits

Or you could order the Crawfish Étouffée with Andouille Sausage and Dirty Rice for $7.25 from Magnolia Terrace and pair that with the Fried Green Tomatoes from Festival Favorites, priced at $6.25, to create a delicious meal.

Crawfish Étouffée with Andouille Sausage and Dirty Rice

Plus, if you’re willing to share items between your group of friends or family members, you could potentially even try more dishes (still staying under $15 for each person) and taste even more of what the festival has to offer. Just keep in mind that Disney does change up the menus for the festivals each year and the prices can vary (though in the past dishes have typically been in the $3 – $8 range).

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue in The American Adventure

Want something a bit more traditional? Over at Regal Eagle, the Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich is a great choice for a meal under $15. The brisket in this sandwich features the restaurant’s secret brisket rub and is then slow-smoked and smothered in Spicy Mop Sauce and placed between garlic toast and served with your choice of side. It’s priced at $13.49.

Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich

The beef is flavorful and moist, the garlic toast is rich and buttery, and overall the dish has a ton of layers of flavor. In fact, this sandwich has us petitioning for all Disney World sandwiches to come served on garlic toast!

Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion

If you’re looking for something a bit more unique (but still affordable), you could grab a Bratwurst from Sommerfest which is served on a freshly baked roll with Sauerkraut and House-made Paprika Chips for $10.79.

Bratwurst

Dress it up with a little mustard and you’ll have yourself a tasty and relatively inexpensive meal.

Click here to see how we ranked World Showcase pavilions by their snacks in EPCOT!

La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion

At La Cantina de San Angel, you could grab a tasty meal with the Pollo Cascabel, which features Grilled Chicken, Mexican Rice, Corn, Cascabel Sauce, and Pickled Onions. This one is on the pricier end but still comes in just under our price limit at $14.50.

Pollo Cascabel

It’s totally worth coming close to the $15 in this case because this meal is SO flavorful and delicious. When we last had it, the chicken was cooked perfectly, the cascabel sauce added a delicious spice, and all the ingredients were well balanced with the added acidity of the pickled onions.

But, while you’re here you’ve GOT to splurge and get the 75 CENT nacho cheese!!

Side of Nacho Cheese

That would bring your meal a little over $15, but — trust us — the cheese is worth it! 😉

Click here for our full review of the pollo cascabel and more!

Spice Road Table in the Morocco Pavilion

Prefer a sit-down meal? At Spice Road Table, the Spice Road Table Sampler can get you a decent amount of food to eat alone or share (plus, it comes with a nice view of World Showcase Lagoon). The sampler is priced right at $15 and includes lamb kefta, spiced chicken, and tiropitakia.

Tiropitakia and Spiced Chicken

If you’re not familiar, the tiropitakia is Cheese-filled Phyllo which is cheesy, creamy, buttery, and oh so yummy and the spiced chicken is Chicken made with Ras el Hanout spice. The chicken is moist and the warm spices add a unique and tasty flavor. So, if you’re looking for something lighter (but still filling) to munch on as your meal, this sampler could be just the thing!

Click here for our review of Spice Road Table’s new menu.

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion

It’s no secret that Les Halles is one of our favorite places to stop on our way around World Showcase and you can create quite a filling meal here for under $15 if you’re willing to mix and match from the menu. For example, you could grab the Bisque de Homard (lobster bisque) in a bread bowl for $5.95…

Bisque de Homard

…and you can pair the soup with a sandwich (like the Jamon Beurre –Ham and Cheese, Dijon Mustard Butter on a Demi Baguette — for $8.95), a quiche, or some of Les Halles’ unique desserts, all for just at or under $15! If you’re a carb lover, we have a feeling you’ll enjoy a bunch of the selections here.

Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion

Another cheap and delicious meal from EPCOT is the classic Fish & Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop for $11.49.

Fish and Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop

The batter on the fish is nice and flaky, and the fish itself is light and tasty. And, to top it all off, the thick-cut English chips (a.k.a. fries) are perfectly salty and crunchy on the outside, while still being fluffy on the inside.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Woody’s Lunch Box

At Woody’s Lunch Box the $15 meal is an easy pick (for us) — “Totchos!” For $9.99 you get a hearty serving of Potato Barrels (a.k.a. tater tots) coated with Beef and Bean Chili, Shredded Cheese, and signature Queso with Tomatoes and Corn Chips finished with Sour Cream and a sprinkle of Green Onions. The tots and chips have a great crunch, and the ingredients all mix perfectly together.

Totchos

And for just under $15, you can also add on a Lunch Box Tart in your choice of flavor for $4.29. Most recently, Woody’s Lunch Box has been serving these up in Chocolate-Hazelnut, Raspberry, and Lemon-Blueberry, but available flavors can vary.

We can usually be found reaching for the Lemon Blueberry Lunch Box Tart though you really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Ronto Wraps are one of the MOST popular snacks in all of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and they’re a fan-favorite for a good reason — they’re delicious!! The iconic Ronto Wrap is made with Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Slaw wrapped in Pita Bread for $12.99.

The pork sausage is super flavorful and the coleslaw and peppercorn compliment the wrap nicely.

Ronto Wrap

You can get a Ronto Wrap on its own at Ronto Roasters (along with a variety of other flavors like the Ronto Morning Wrap for breakfast and the plant-based Zuchii Wrap for lunch/dinner). But, if you’re looking for a more complete meal, you can actually get a Ronto Wrap WITH a side of plantain and assorted root vegetable chips over at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo during dinnertime (after 3PM) for $13.99! That makes it more of a complete meal which will fill you up that much more.

While they don’t come with sides, the newer plant-based wraps at Ronto Roasters during breakfast and lunch are also totally worth a try!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Flame Tree Barbecue

Looking for something that’s both cheesy AND savory? Look no further than Flame Tree Barbecue’s Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork priced at $12.49! This dish is made with Baked Macaroni and Cheese topped with Smoked Pulled Pork, Onion Rings, and Coleslaw.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Pulled Pork

It’s hard not to be happy with cheese, pork, and onion rings, but do yourself a favor and add some extra barbecue sauce — you’ll be glad you did!

Satu’li Canteen

There’s nothing wrong with eating chicken tenders and corn dogs in Disney World, but if you want something that doesn’t scream theme park food then you’ll want to head on over to Satu’li Canteen in Pandora — The World of Avatar.

At this spot, you can grab a number of customizable bowls that come with your choice of meat, base (including red and sweet potato hash, salad, rice and black beans, and more), and sauce. For example, you can grab a Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl for $14.49 which features Grilled Beef marinated in a blend of Garlic, Herbs, Red Pepper Spice, and Red Wine Vinegar topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls served with your choice of Base and Sauce. Or you can opt for chili-garlic shrimp ($15.49), chopped wood-grilled chicken ($12.99), or chili-spiced crispy fried tofu ($12.99).

Grilled Beef & Chicken Bowl

What’s great is that you can really make these bowls what you want them to be, and each member in your party can get their own customized version of the meal. Plus, the option overall feels healthier than say chicken nuggets and fries, but is still filling.

Not in the mood for a bowl? Then we highly recommend the fan-favorite Cheeseburger Steamed Pods — Bao Buns from here. The adult version of this dish comes with 2 Steamed Cheeseburger Pods stuffed with Ground Beef, Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle, and Cheddar Cheese served with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Vegetable Chips for $12.79.

Did someone say Cheeseburger Pods?

They may not be winning any awards for Instagram’s most photogenic food, but don’t let looks deceive you! These little “beauties” are packed with all the tasty flavors of a cheeseburger tucked into a deliciously soft doughy bun.

Nomad Lounge

Nomad Lounge is one of our favorite lesser-known spots to grab a meal in Animal Kingdom. And, the best part is that you can find a few things in the menu for under $15 here, including Tiffins Bread Service which is priced at $12. This dish is traditionally served in the Table Service restaurant next door (Tiffins) but you can get it without the reservation here! And, it’s no wonder this appetizer is so popular — it comes with various types of bread paired with Red Pepper Hummus, Spicy Coriander Yogurt, Ginger-Pear Chutney.

Tiffin’s Bread Service, served at Nomad Lounge

The ability to mix and match the different breads with the dips to find your perfect combos is a fun challenge but keep in mind that this would be a meal that is essentially entirely made of carbs so it may not fill you up for too long.

For something a bit more substantial you can get one of the rotating Nomad’s bowls. Right now, they’re serving up the Togarashi-spiced Tuna Nomad Bowl which features Steamed Rice, Red Cabbage Kimchi, Ginger-Scallion Oil, and Crimini for $15

Togarashi-spiced Tuna Nomad Bowl

…and the Chicken Manchurian Nomad Bowl which features Steamed Rice, Red Cabbage Kimchi, Ginger-Scallion Oil, and Crimini for $13.

Chicken Manchurian Nomad Bowl

We really loved all the flavors in both of these bowls (although the chicken was the winner for us).

The Daily Poutine

  • Canadian poutine — French Fries, Beef Poutine Gravy and Cheddar Curds — $9.49

No amount of photography skills is going to make this look good — but it tastes great!

You can also find some seasonal or holiday-inspired poutine dishes here like the Italian poutine with mozzarella, pecorino romano, and turkey bolognese sauce, and even Korean barbecue poutine with Asian barbecued pulled pork, kimchi, and sriracha aïoli. These usually ring in right under $10, so take a look at their menu when you’re around to see if anything speaks to you.

Earl of Sandwich

  • And you could potentially add on a bowl of soup (featured soup: $3.49 to $4.49 for a cup), a side (like some mac & cheese for $5.99), or a dessert (ranging from $2.59 to $4.49)

Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

  • Breakfast: Tonga Toast — Banana-stuffed Sourdough Bread, Battered, Deep-fried, and Dusted with Cinnamon-Sugar served with Bacon or Sausage — $10.49

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Grilled Cheese!

You can’t go wrong with a classic like grilled cheese and tomato soup. It’s good on a warm day or a cool one, hearty without being heavy, and the price tag is just right!
