Work Continues on Base of New Structure at Journey of Water Inspired by ‘Moana’ in EPCOT

Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” will be a new walkthrough attraction in EPCOT including interactive water features. Let’s take a look at the most recent construction on the project.

A metal frame was added to one of the attraction’s concrete structures earlier this month.

Several small wood structures now sit in front of one of the concrete walls.

A few days ago, we saw construction begin on the base of a new structure. The structure is outlined with low wood walls.

The space between the wood walls is now filled with metal rods.

Crew members were working on this base when we rode by on the Monorail.

Next to this new structure is a trench. One large pipe currently runs through it.

In the next trench over, work continues on this structure.

It has been expanded. Some wood walls remain exposed but will likely be enclosed in concrete.
